It is usually a 3 step process.
Consultation, Colour Implanting and Follow up.
Implanting of colour (always darker on the day) aprox 2 hrs for numbing and colour .
Aprox 6 weeks later after healing and fading, sometimes a touch up is required (colour can fade up to 30%) It’s a must to have the 3rd visit in case a touch up is needed.
If you do not come for the 3rd visit and your colour needs touching up after 6 weeks a charge will be applied.
Implanting of more colour after 12 mths will be charged accordingly.
How long will it last ?
Cosmetic tattooing lasts a long time but not forever -
About 2-4years.
The colour on the top layer will flake off during the healing process (2-4 weeks), lightening the overall effect .
The darker the colour the longer it will stay.
Sunscreen is a must.
The more you stay in the sun the more it will fade over time. |

Don’t be fooled
It does need to be DARKER to START with because you will get about 30% fade in the first mth and some loss in hair stroke’s. Unless the right colour is chosen, it will result in you having to do it over again in less then 12 mths
Things to know
If you are nervous on the day, you can take a Panadol.
This works on the nerve endings and is very helpful
It is important not to take any vitamin B or Aspro at least 2 weeks before any procedure.
Does the procedure hurt ?
Topical anaesthetics are applied at the beginning and during the procedure to keep you comfortable. On a scale of 1-10 usually a 0-3 is felt in the beginning but that soon goes to 0 after a short period.
Do not have this done before seeing your doctor. if your taking Warfrin ,Asprin or on blood thinners see your doctor if you can go off medication for 1 week before .
